Oat and Lentil Pancake

Ingredients

  • 1 cup moong daal washed and soaked overnight
  • handful coriander chopped
  • 1/3 cup tomato chopped
  • 1/4 cup rolled oats blended
  • 1 tbsp ginger paste
  • 1 tbsp baking powder
  • 1/8 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp cumin
  • 1/2 tsp coriander

Instructions

  • Rinse and strain moong daal
  • Blend with 2-3 tbsp water till smooth
  • Add ginger paste, tomato, coriander, blended oats, salt, cumin, coriander
  • Mix well
  • Add baking powder and mix again
  • Oil pan and add 1/4 pancake batter
  • Drizzle oil then cover and cook for 5 mins
  • Flip, and cook for an additional 4 mins
  • Serve with tamarind sauce
