Oat bagels

Servings: 6 portions

Ingredients
  

  • 2 cups. Oat flour
  • 1 cup. Greek yogurt without sugar
  • 1 egg
  • ½ tbsp. baking powder
  • ¼ tsp. salt
To decorate:
  • 1 beaten egg for glazing
  • 2 tbsp. bagel seasoning or seeds *Optional

Instructions
 

  1. Mix the yogurt with the egg until incorporated.
  2. Add the dry ingredients, flour, baking powder and salt.
  3. Knead until the dough is homogeneous and manageable.
  4. Portion the dough into 6 portions.
  5. Shape the bagels with your hands.
  6. Place on a greased or waxed paper-lined baking sheet.
  7. Brush with egg and sprinkle with bagel seasoning or seeds.
  8. Bake at 180 °C for 30 minutes or until golden brown.
  9. Serve your bagels with your favorite filling.

Notes

  • Use different seeds such as sesame seeds, poppy seeds or oat flakes.
  • For a neutral version do not spoloverees seasoning or seeds.
  • Fill with light cream cheese, fresh fruit or smoked salmon, ham, etc.
