Oat-crusted Potato Cutlets

Ingredients

Dry Coating:

  • ¼ cup oats
  • ½ tsp black pepper
  • 1 tsp dry parsley
  • ½ salt tsp

Wet Coating:

  • 1 egg

Cutlet mixture:

  • 3 potatoes
  • ½ medium onion thinly sliced
  • ½ cup fresh coriander chopped
  • 2 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp coriander powder
  • 2 green chillies minced

Instructions

  • Blend ¼ cup oats, ½ tsp black pepper, 1 tsp parsley, and ½ tsp salt
  • Set aside
  • Whisk 1 egg and set aside
  • Mash 3 boiled potatoes
  • Add 2 green chilies
  • Add coriander and onion
  • Add 1 tsp coriander powder and 2 tsp salt
  • Mix well and form cutlet
  • Time to coat the cutlets
  • Dip each cutlet into egg mix then into oat coating
  • Fry for 3-4 minutes on each side
  • Garnish with fresh coriander
