Granola de Avena Steel-Cut

Steel-Cut Oatmeal Granola

Ingredients

  • 250 gr. steel-cut oats
  • 2 tbsp. coconut oil
  • ¼ cup. Maple syrup
  • 2 tbsp. peanut butter
  • 3 tbsp. slivered almonds
  • 3 tbsp. pumpkin seeds
  • 4 tbsp. shredded coconut
  • 4 tbsp. pecan nuts
  • 2 tbsp. Cinnamon
  • 1 tsp. Vanilla Extract
  • 2 tsp. salt
  • cup. Raisins or dried cranberries

Instructions

  • In a deep bowl or bowl mix the liquid ingredients: the coconut oil, peanut butter, maple syrup and vanilla.
  • Add the rest of the ingredients except the raisins or cranberries.
  • Spread the mixture on a baking sheet covered with waxed paper.
  • Bake in a preheated oven at 150°C (350°F).
  • Bake for approximately 30 to 40 minutes, stirring every 10 minutes. Remove from oven when lightly browned.
  • Add the raisins or cranberries once cooled.

Notes

  • You can add different nuts or seeds: dried strawberries, apricots, flaxseed or chia are excellent choices.
  • Serve with yogurt, milk or whatever you like.
  • Store in a jar or sealed container.
