Oatmeal Cheese Buns

Ingredients

  • 1 ¾ tbsp. Oat flour
  • ½ tsp. salt
  • 1 tbsp. ground chia
  • 1 ½ tbsp. baking powder
  • 1 tsp. dried oregano
  • 1 tsp. dried parsley
  • 1 tbsp. garlic powder
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 4 Eggs
  • 150 gr. Manchego cheese
  • Sunflower for decoration

Instructions

  • In a bowl or deep bowl mix the dry ingredients: oat flour, salt, ground chia, baking powder, oregano, parsley and garlic powder.
  • Add the olive oil and 3 eggs; mix until you have a dough.
  • Divide the dough into 6 portions and form discs: place a cube of cheese in the center and close.
  • Brush with the remaining egg and sprinkle with sesame seeds.
  • Place in a recipient if you want it to hold its shape better use a muffin recipient.
  • Bake at 180°C for 25 minutes until lightly browned.

Notes

  • Experiment with different cheeses as fillings, you can use cream cheese or your favorite cheese to fill the breads.
  • Decorate with seeds or oat flakes.
  • Reserve in an airtight container for approximately 2 days.
