Overnight Matcha with Oats

Overnight Matcha with Oats is the perfect blend of simplicity and wellness. Prep it in just 10 minutes, let it rest overnight, and wake up to a breakfast that’s ready when you are.

Ingredients
  

  • 1 cup rolled oats
  • 1 tbsp chia seeds
  • 1 pinch salt
  • 1 cup oat milk
  • ½ cup plain yoghurt
  • 1 tsp matcha powder
  • 2 –3 tbsp honey maple syrup or agave syrup
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • Fresh fruit and seeds for garnish strawberries, kiwi, chia seeds, shredded coconut

Instructions
 

  1. In a bowl, mix the milk with the matcha until there are no lumps.
  2. Add the oats, yoghurt, sweetener and vanilla. Mix well.
  3. Divide into jars with lids and refrigerate for at least 6 hours or overnight.
  4. The next morning, serve with fresh fruit and your favorite toppings.
TIP
  1. If you prefer a thinner consistency, add a little extra milk when serving. You can also layer it: oats with matcha + plain yoghurt + fruit.
