Oatmeal Panna Cotta and Strawberry Sauce

Ingredients
  

For the Oat Panna cotta:
  • 3 cups. Oat milk
  • cup Sugar
  • 1 tbsp. vanilla essence
  • 1 ½ tbsp. Agar agar agar
For the strawberry sauce:
  • 1 cup. Strawberries
  • 3 tbsp. sugar
  • 1 tsp. lemon juice
  • cup Water

Instructions
 

For the Panna Cotta:
  1. Mix the oat milk, sugar and vanilla essence. Bring the mixture to a boil over medium-high heat.
  2. Add the agar agar powder once the mixture boils and reduce the heat.
  3. Stir constantly for 2-3 minutes until the agar agar is completely dissolved and the mixture begins to thicken slightly.
  4. Pour the mixture into molds or small cups.
  5. Let cool to room temperature and then refrigerate for at least 3 hours until the panna cotta sets completely.
For the Strawberry Sauce:
  1. In a saucepan place the strawberries, sugar, lemon juice and water. Cook over medium heat until the strawberries soften and the mixture begins to bubble.
  2. Let cool and blend.
  3. Strain and refrigerate until used with the panna cotta.
Assembly:
  1. Unmold the panna cotta by running a knife around the edges of the molds and turning them out onto a plate.
  2. Serve the panna cotta with the strawberry sauce on top and garnish with some fresh strawberries if desired.

Notes

  • You can adjust the amount of sugar in the sauce according to your taste.
  • If you do not have molds, you can serve the panna cotta directly in individual cups or glasses.
