Oat bagels

Servings: 6 portions


  • 2 cups. Oat flour
  • 1 cup. Greek yogurt without sugar
  • 1 egg
  • ½ tbsp. baking powder
  • ¼ tsp. salt

To decorate:

  • 1 beaten egg for glazing
  • 2 tbsp. bagel seasoning or seeds *Optional


  • Mix the yogurt with the egg until incorporated.
  • Add the dry ingredients, flour, baking powder and salt.
  • Knead until the dough is homogeneous and manageable.
  • Portion the dough into 6 portions.
  • Shape the bagels with your hands.
  • Place on a greased or waxed paper-lined baking sheet.
  • Brush with egg and sprinkle with bagel seasoning or seeds.
  • Bake at 180 °C for 30 minutes or until golden brown.
  • Serve your bagels with your favorite filling.



  • Use different seeds such as sesame seeds, poppy seeds or oat flakes.
  • For a neutral version do not spoloverees seasoning or seeds.
  • Fill with light cream cheese, fresh fruit or smoked salmon, ham, etc.
