Oatmeal Burger

  • 175 grams of ground beef
  • 1/4 cup plain, whole oats
  • 1/4 cup grated carrot
  • 1/4 tablespoon mustard
  • 1/8 cup finely chopped onion
  • 1 egg
  • salt and black pepper


  • Mix all the ingredients in a bowl until they are well incorporated, prepare the burger of the desired size and place waxed paper between each one to prevent them from sticking.
  • Cook in a pan with a little olive oil over low heat until slightly golden on both sides.
  • Serve on hamburger bun with lettuce, tomato, onion and preferred toppings.
