Matcha Oat Bliss Balls

These are a quick and easy no-bake treat. They are vegan and have no added sugar. The matcha, oats and almond pack a powerful punch of healthy goodness.

Ingrédients

  • 1 cup oats (quick or rolled)
  • 1/2 cup unsweetened shredded coconut
  • 1/2 cup almond flour
  • 1 1/4 cup dates, pitted
  • 1 tbsp matcha powder
  • 1/2 tsp vanilla extract
  • 2 tbsp chocolate chips,dairy free, (optional)

Instructions

  1. Pit the dates, place them into a bowl, and cover them with hot water. Let sit for 20 minutes, drain well.

  2. In a food processor blend the oats until they are finely ground. 

  3. Add in the coconut, almond flour, matcha, vanilla and salt, pulse until combined.

  4. Add the dates and process until sticky uniform dough forms, you may have to scrape down the side of the bowl of your food processor.  You will know the dough is ready when it sticks together.

  5. If using, pulse in the chocolate chips.

  6. Using about 2 tablespoon scoop the dough out and rollit into balls. Once rolled you can coat them in matcha, coconut, crushed nuts, or cocoa powder.

  7. Place on a parchment lined cookie sheet and chill for one hour.

When rolling the Bliss Balls it helps to have your hands slightly wet. Store in a sealed container in the fridge for up to 1 week, or in the freezer for up to two months.
